Guidelines for Parents of Children Enrolled in Prayag
Intimations - All messages from school will be sent through WhatsApp. Please check and read any message or attachment that you get from Prayag.
Phone Numbers - We request parents not to ask teachers for their personal number or call on their personal numbers. You can call on our official numbers and talk to the concerned Adult.
Parking - We request parents to park their vehicle away from the school premises and walk down to drop or pick their child. This is to avoid traffic bottlenecks and not cause inconvenience to our neighbours.
Drop & pick timings – Drop time in the mornings is 9:30 am. Please ensure that your child is in school before 9:30 am. Our PreMont & Mont 1 children leave by 12.30pm. Mont 2 & Mont 3 children leave at 1.30pm.
Snacks and Personal belongings – For snacks, finger foods are preferred. Snack boxes and shoes should be labeled and remain consistent each day. Please refrain from sending fancy shoes or boxes with special covers and spoons. Avoid using plastic boxes, spoons and forks.
No Van Service - If your child will not be taking the van on any given day and will be picked up instead, please inform the office directly by phone before 12:00 p.m.
Safety - ID cards have been issued to parents and the same should be sent along with the person coming to pick the child, in case parents are not able to pick their child personally. Parents are requested to call the admins in person and keep them informed.
Celebrations - For birthdays, we encourage the distribution of individually packed Indian sweets instead of chocolates. Alternatively, parents may choose to send plants, books, pencils, or other stationery items in place of chocolates.
Assignments - Weekly assignments will be sent home. We kindly request parents to assist their child in completing the work and returning the book within two days.
Prayag T-Shirt – The Prayag t-shirt should be worn by the child every Friday. On special days like Sports day, Picnic etc., Prayag t-shirt is to be worn along with blue jeans.
Social Media – We take pictures of our children on every occasion and during all events at school. Please understand that we cannot take pictures of all our children for every occasion/ event or post all the photos on our social media platforms. Sometimes, the child may not be interested to be part of the photo shoot. We do understand that your child’s photo is of immense importance to you. We will definitely try and cover all our children. Do follow us on Instagram and like us on Facebook.
