Prayag Montessori & Pre-School, as the name suggests, follows the Montessori philosophy as well as caters to the needs of those children who relocate frequently due to their parents’ job situations.
All our Environments in Prayag are designed with the goal of facilitating the developmental and emotional growth of children between 2-6 years. We aim to nurture the child to help them grow into independent individuals, with a desire to explore the world and understand it to the best of their ability. Within the Montessori program, children progress at their own pace, moving to the next area of learning as and when they are ready. This fosters their rigorous and self-motivated growth in all areas of their development—cognitive, emotional, social, and physical.
Prayag is not only for those Montessori-inclined parents but also for those who want to give the benefits of Montessori to their little ones but are unable to do so due to the nature of their jobs. Children in our Pre-School program imbibe the principles of the Montessori pedagogy whilst working with Montessori materials for their initial presentations at the Pre-School level 1. As they transition to Pre-School levels 2 & 3 (equivalent to L.K.G & U.K.G), they are exposed to a traditional classroom set-up, which familiarises them with the schools they plan to enrol for their next stage of learning i.e. the Primary level.
Prayag maintains a healthy Adult to Child ratio across both the Montessori and Pre-School programs.

Children are free to eat and enjoy their snacks in the Snack Corner within every Environment, whenever they wish to.
All Montessori Adults are trained and certified by IMTC or IMA. Our Montessori program is certified by the Indian Montessori Centre.
Language is introduced in the Montessori way using the concept of Phonics.
Arithmetic is introduced with Montessori learning aids.
Our Pre-school Environments have designated snack times to help children adjust to regular schools.
All Pre-school Adults are NTT-trained.
We are recognised by the Dept of Education (South Bangalore) for Pre-school.
Language is introduced in the Montessori way using the concept of Phonics.
